Built the Pine Ridge Connector Trail behind the Wilson Creek Visitor Center that connects to The Mountain to the Sea Trail.
Worked with the Arts Council to provide artistic bicycle racks to the towns of Lenoir and Hudson.

Joined with the Health Department and Healthy Caldwellians to conduct the annual Trails to Trails Incredible Challenge.
Joined with the City of Lenoir to obtain right-of-ways and funds to provide a complex of greenways that connects to the library, the Wilson Recreation Field, the Aquatics Center, the Soccer Complex and will eventually go under Highway 321 at Smiths Crossroads in order that pedestrians and bicycles can safely traverse Highway 321.
Provided signage for area trails and parks.
Joined with the Collettsville Ruritan Club and Google employees to build a ten foot paved multi-purpose trail that extends approximately three quarters of a mile down the river from the Ruritan Park.
Got approval for a pedestrian lane to be installed in the new Hwy 268 bridge in Happy Valley.
Coordinated the planning, design, easement acquisitions and funding in the construction of the 1.5 mile Yadkin River Greenway.
Coordinated the construction of a handicapped fishing pier on the Yadkin Greenway.
Received a $32,089 Recreational Trails Grant to build a greenway connecting Hudson Elementary and Middle Schools.
Coordinated with Arts Council to receive a $60,000 grant to provide art, seating and shelter on the Yadkin River Greenway.
